Oh wow the holidays are HERE. That also means the holiday parties are here and we’ve been all sorts of festive. It’s fun to see Finn getting excited about the season, which means the 25th – Christmas AND the first night of Chanukah – will be extra special.
We had our office white elephant party on Tuesday and I picked up my gift at The Strand, where they had a great book tree. I’m proud to say the gift I brought was stolen once – the sign of a good pick! Side note: it is insanely difficult to go to that store and not purchase for myself.
On Saturday, our local pizza place hosted a holiday party for their regulars and it was a great time. It was fun to mingle with the low stakes of being just a block away from home when we were ready for bed.
On Sunday we went to the Botanical Gardens for their annual train show. The craftsmanship is incredible!
